SOLARGEL-E

SOLARGEL-E is a booster sensitive emulsion explosive. It is not a cap sensitive explosive.. Although it is generally used in wet holes instead of ANFO, it can also be used in dry holes in order to provide better fragmentation in all rock formations to reduce the explosive material cost of operation. Also, for better bottom cutting, fragmenting and displacement, it is recommended to use SOLARGEL-E as bottom charge.

By changing emulsion and ANFO proportions in SOLARGEL-E, it is possible to produce rock formation specific explosive compositions. It is possible to obtain explosives with higher fragmentation energy for hard rock formations as well as higher gas yield for better rock displacement on soft rock formations.

SOLARGEL-E is offered either as a cartridge product or as a bulk explosive used by direct hole charging through special bulk charging trucks.
